Regina Sports & Recreation

Hockey Season is upon us!

Fall is the start of the hockey season, and time for other indoor sports like basketball which help keep you in shape over the coming winter, for recreational pursuits (like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, or hockey).

Our Sports section has lots of good information about many sports, and our event calendar includes the schedule for the local professional and/or Junior A hockey teams.

Regina is an important city in Canada's history. It is home to the RCMP's training academy and museum, as well as the location of several battles of the Riel Rebellion.

There are a dozen museums and historical sites, lots of parks and river-side greenspace, and activities and sports to keep anybody busy (and happy). We even have a page that has tips on hundreds of things to do with kids.
