These communities in northwest Regina are about 50 years old, and have a number of smaller bungalows typically under 1,100 square feet, filled with retirees, and increasingly young couples.
These communities are mostly small two-bedroom bungalows, suitable for young couples and retirees. The style is somewhat dated. The community is close-in to Regina, and particularly close to Regina Exhibition Park.
The district of Lakeview dates back to the era of constructing the Saskatchewan Legislature, when the wealthier residents of that time chose to build their mansions with a view of the structure.
This area, south of Victoria Ave above College Ave is full or larger frame houses, some of the oldest in Regina. It is prized for its proximity to both downtown and Wascana Lake
The newest area in the southeast, recently built just east of Prince of Wales Drive. It has larger-than-normal lots, nicely landscaped parks, and includes the new South East Leisure Centre beside an artificial lake
