Introduction
Regina Transit is run by the City of Regina.

Fares to ride the transit must be paid with exact change since the drivers do not carry change. For convenience, you may wish to get a "sheet" of 10 tickets. Fares are reduced for students, who must produce their school transit card when asked for proof of age. These transit cards are not bus passes, and still require the fare to be paid.

Regina Transit offers special day and weekend passes, giving you unlimited rides. For the low price of $6.30 the pass is good for unlimited travel on any Regina Transit bus after 09:00 (9:00 A.M.) on a weekday. You can also take the whole family on Regina Transit on weekends for just $6.30 (for up to two adults and three children under 18 years) for unlimited rides on either a Saturday or a Sunday.

Transfers
You will need a "transfer" if you need to use more than one bus to complete your trip, and are using cash or tickets as fare payment. Be sure to request the correct transfer as you board the bus. A TransFare allows unlimited travel in any direction including return trips, but expire one hour after you board the bus.

Customer Service & Information
There are several services to help you use Regina Transit safely, effectively and efficiently. For schedules and recommended route information you visit the Transit Information Center at 2124 11th Avenue or call (306) 777-RIDE (7433). The Information Line is staffed Monday to Friday 07:00 - 21:00, Saturday 09:00 - 16:00, and is closed Sundays & Holidays. A Regina Transit representative will tell (even mail you a map if you ask) the best route to take when you tell them your starting point and destination. Any concerns, suggestions or commendations regarding Regina Transit may be voiced by dialing the same number.

Access for Persons with Limited Mobility
If you are a person with a disability, you may be eligible for Paratransit service. Paratransit service is a shared ride service. Applications for Paratransit service are available by calling 777-7726.

Special Bus Routes & Services
Night Stops At night (after 8 pm), your transit operator can let you off anywhere along the regular route other than a regular bus stop. Please tell the operator at least one stop ahead of where you want to be let off (not by ringing the bell, used for a regular stop).

Football Express Regina Transit has special Football Express buses to and from the Saskatchewan Roughrider games at most of the city's major shopping centres. Buses depart 45 minutes before game time and return to the malls 15 minutes after the "final gun". Shopping malls serviced are: Northgate, Southland, Victoria Square, Broadway, Rosemont, Golden Mile, Regent Park, Normanview, and Whitmore Park.
